Impossible to help without knowing what the problem is, but the Help section with the FAQ at the bottom should help you a bit.

My tree has disappeared, and I am not the only one. So all of the information I put in over the past 9 years can just be taken away and I can't do anything about it because I have been using the free version? Wow, that has to be illegal. There is no warning that your information can just disappear at Geni's whim or lousy software. Geni uses the information we all provide for its Smart Matches and for data used in marketing, then punishes the free users??
Kathy Case - there is many accounts with your name - it could be as simple as you have started multiple trees where one is more complete that the other. Try another login, but however the most recent account with your name have over 10 thousands ancestors and would not call it an empty tree...
I’m trying to cancel my account and the website is not letting me, it’s very strange. You can’t press the cancel button on the screen (the cancel button has a gray color) Can someone please help me? Has anyone encountered this problem?

On Geni, as most sites with a login you find your account settings by clicking your own name in the upper right corer on most Geni windows.
When you want to cancel/close your account there is boxes that you have to click in explaining why you don’t want to be a member anymore, then there is a candle button at the end, I press it and nothing happenes. I’ve tried on different devices and you can click on the button, does it mean that I’m already canceled? It’s very confusing

Let me guess: You missed the big Close Account button and clicked Cancel to the right of it, which cancel your attempt to close your account.

to close your account whenever you want?
Okey now I understand what you meant. No I didn’t press the cancel button. I pressed the “Close Account” button but nothing happened.
Depending on how tangled your tree is with outher users you might have some options to answer to enable the close account button.
