How to add new person to wife or husband?

Hi all, I managed the whole family trees. I added some people in my family with email and asked them to join. After they joined they want to add their husband or wife or kids, but they could not. Do you guys know where is the setting that I should do to make them to add or edit their trees on their own? Thank you very much.
