Joannes Phelan born 1811 son of Joannis Phelan and Catherine Tobin Second Marriage to Bridget born 1813.

I have yet to set any of my family information.  Just saw this entry and thought I may be of some help.  John was married in 1829 soon after that first marriage, his wife Catherine P.  died.  As a Catholic John waited 24 months before re-marring actually after twenty seven months  He then married Bridget.   I have both their death dates as well Bridget is my relation  If someone thinks this sounds like their family, I would be more than glade to help.  Thank you, for your help in posting this note.  I can narrow down the Co. Waterford to  "middle third" if that helps one in their quest.   If not then I possibly have the wrong party.  It is to my advantage as well as theirs, Phelan spelt many ways however this is how it was recorded on the old original church records.   Merry Christmas we need all the merriment we can muster these days.
