Years ago I created a bunch of profiles. They have not been claimed. Now I find that I can't edit them. Its especially a problem for people I want to invite and I need to update their email address. This is a prime example:

Take a closer look, - it is a claimed profile because you see a Send Message option in the profile and a blue picture frame in tree view.
In fact as many as 13 of the profiles you have added is claimed/Geni users.
Unless they have changed the setting to allow family to edit only this person or a curator like me can edit or merge such profiles.
