Hello Nancy,
I think Geni pay staff to work on the help desk, for people who subscribe.
But there are also volunteer Curators, who are able to fix problems.
I suggest you go to https://www.geni.com/discussions/178003 and click on the largest number on the right, just before the link called "Next".
At the bottom of that page you'll find a text box with the heading:
Type in your request there, with a link to the profile where the problem is. A volunteer Curator will probably fix the problem and send you a message through the Geni system. (Of course, you need to have a free "Basic" account to do these things.)
