Editing the Content

I allowed my nephew who is a software engineer to add members of his wife's family. While doing so he committed mistakes as a result some names in my tree were changed to "Private" and certain relationships changed. For instance my sister became my niece and my niece became my sister. I asked my nephew to undo. He failed to undo. I also failed to undo. Can anyone suggest how this problem can be redressed ?
