my husband passed away and I want to stop birthday and anniversary notices. How do I do it?

  If he was a Geni user you need to tell Geni staff to close his account first. You do that by using Report/Deceased in the Actions menu on his profile.

  You said Husband, - are you his wife logged in on his account? Please tell that in the report and also tell if you want to get access to your own account since it is a while since it was logged in on.

  If logged in as him - you can also go to the account settings you find by clicking the name at the top left and simply close the account yourself and selecting deceased as reason
