My brother Timothy Hunt passed away Jan. 4, 2019. For all I have searched through editing his profile from different paths, I find no option for choosing deceased and entering a date of death, even though I had just entered an uncle's death date. Is there a flaw in the program? How can I make this happen?

Your brother was a Geni user himself, so you need to ask Geni to close his account first.
You do that by selecting Reprot/Deceased in the Actions menu on his profile.
I have done that just now. HOw soon should I be able to put in the death date? Thanks.
Since you are a close relative you will not be asked for documentation, so I would expect that it will be solved within the next working day.
