Hello, i tried to import a family tree via GEDCOM.
After i uploaded the GEDCOM data on geni, it imported just around 250 of the 1300 persons of my family tree.
Is this normal ?
And can i now reupload my family tree again, to get the rest of the family tree on geni ?

I did same,I have over 5000 in my tree ,but not showing,I'd rather delete this then start to fill in rest
Mine only added the first person; which is me. But, my tree goes back at least 4 generations for both of my parents.
Hi David, I see that you manually entered your parents before doing the import. That means you will need to start your GEDCOM import from either your father's or mother's profile. Please follow these steps to import your GEDCOM file:
1. Go to either your father or mother's profile page and click "Actions" at the top right.
2. Select "Import GEDCOM."
This will take you to the GEDCOM import page so that you can begin the import starting from your father or mother (you should see their name in Step 1 of the import page).
3. In Step 2, select the GEDCOM file you have already uploaded.
4. In Step 3, select the individual in the file that matches the person in step one.
5. Lastly, begin your import.
