What do I do if I found an ancestor, but the person who created them no longer checks their messages?

  if you need to connect to an abandoned tree, try going to the Discussion forum. at the tol of the page there are pinned messages where you can ask for help.

  Curators may be able to make the merge for you, if it is back far enough in time.

  that said, I found some matches and merged them; you are now connected to the World Tree.

  Would you be able to help me with the issue in the question? I found an ancestor in the world tree that matches what I have on ancestry and would like to merge them but the person doesn’t seem to be active
