How do I add an additional ancestor within the family line that was not added into the line? I have the son and grandfather but missed the father & mother. Thanks for any help in advance.

Christine Ann Lloyd I had the similar problems and many people have left similar messages without resolution. I kept trying to edit profiles without success, I had to list non married parents but it would then add the spouse of those people as an additional parents creating multiple parents/conflicts which I couldn't correct. Frustrating!!
For now avoid the edit profile and go into the ''view tree' of the affected person that you want to add/change, from their I was able to add missing people to their tree and from that I could then go into edit profiles and merge people which would allow me to choose the correct parents without adding their spouses and this sorted out any conflicts that had arisen from multiple parents..

Job Waterreus In tree view you can add the father as son to the grandfather and add his wife to the father. On the profile page of the son you then can go to the relation tab and choose different parents (the father and his wife).
