The auto-fill suggestions for place names have gone berserk for me. When I try to enter a county and state without a city, it defaults to listing the county name as the city name, too, so I have to go in and manually delete the (erroneous) city name. US places are now listed in the order of county, city, and country, instead of city first. It no longer recognizes US state abbreviations. Has anyone else had these problems?

Valerie Joy Elms I have also been having great problems adding the place names for birth, death, burial for my family. System only accepts the auto-fill which are NOT correct. As a result I have stopped using geni.com. It's a total waste of my time. Will return to my Ancestry Tree as my only site.

You can add your own values, there is no obligation to use the auto suggest values, besides curators are able to change / add values (but that is a rather cumbersome process, there is no bulk update possible)
