I am very upset as I have just received an email advising me that a person I do not know has merged my profile with someone else’s. I asked that person to unmerge, but when I login now, it logs me in to another person’s profile, with her family tree and even her private messages. How is that even possible? I don’t understand why someone can merge my profile with someone else’s without my permission in the first place. I want my profile back, and I don’t want access to someone else’s private information - it seems like a data privacy breech to me. I don’t want to imagine that other person accessing my private messages in the meantime..
