Although I have a great deal of information on GENI, I want to take my data and build my own website, with my own domain, that will be viewable only to the relatives I invite to view it. I would like the website to have a template like GENI does, where the relationships are clear, views can be changed, media uploaded. I guess what I am asking for is: how do I create my personal geni site? I am really confused about how this can be done, if it can be done. Any input? Thanks much.

Myheritage offers such tree option. It is linked to Geni database and has great access to online documents. There you can regulate the access to your tree.
Geni is a world tree which goes far beyond our individual trees we usually build consisting of the close family.
