My mother was born in 1931 as Florence Browne. In 1954 she changed her name to Ruth Leah Browne. In 1964 she married and became Ruth Leah Stern. What is the correct way to designate this?
If I write her as First Name = Florence, Last Name = Stern, Birth Name = Browne, then her display name becomes Florence Stern which is a combination that never existed. If I make her first name/ middle name Ruth Leah, and also known as Florence, then that shows correctly but is historically wrong as she was born Florence. What is the "correct" way to do this?
