Hi all,
On 9 November 2018 Geni transferred the primary manager role for 88 profiles from me to a distant relative (https://www.geni.com/people/Kirsten-Bodil-Renneberg-Nielsen/6000000040462025186). The 88 profiles contain (among others) my closest family (including my children) and a number of them are private and should not even be visible to Kirsten. According to the log, the transfer of all proifles was completed within a couple of minutes, so it was clearly not a manual process.
I have asked Kirsten about it and she does not know how this has happened and says that she has not been involved. We believe that Geni (or someone with more powers than a normal user) has done this.
Kirsten has no problem returning the primary manager role to me, but as it seems to be a problem that Geni has created, I think that we should be able to ask them to fix it again, but there appears to be no way of contacting them unless you are a Pro user. This seems to be a little unfair in this case.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Either by getting in touch with someone from Geni or a do-it-yourself method that does not involve Kirsten having to manually assign the primary manager role to 88 different profiles.
Any input will be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Allan
