Deleting Tree

I love reading how many people want to delete their tree. The same issue occurs on Wiki Tree and Family Search. In the Golden Days...you know when people were smarter than they are today and knew how to go into a library and read books and search records on actual Micro Fiche (what is that-says the Millennial)...anyway the issue is we have a circus of individuals that like to say all Browns, Smiths, Jones, etc. must be from the same line and if they are descended from some King or Queen that I too must be related...now we have the hopefuls that would like to make one big happy tree that shows how everyone is related...the problem is the lack of education, research skills, and just general dang I made a mistake. Too late you have already merged your tree with those individuals and muddied the water never to be corrected. I mean even those Mormons who had the best records are all now tainted and even deleted from existence due to allowing people to make so called corrections to your tree when they were obviously wrong...oh, but they have records...yeah the wrong ones with no context. So, if you are unable to correct the idiocy just stop using the service. I know I no longer use Geni, Wiki, or Family Search. Not until they give back the right of people to provide their own research and give proof of that research and if someone disagrees they can create their own tree and provide their proofs...but heaven forbid them to correct or delete records they disagree with or merge 100,000 people that have nothing to do or connect with your 1000 records you spent the last 50 years working on and gathering actual documents before they were all put online so people could try and make connections to make themselves feel better about belonging...it is ridiculous and a travesty...Get an At DNA test and do your 7 generations of cousins and upload the results to Gedmatch.org. Do a Y-DNA test if you are a Male and do a Mt-DNA test for both Male and Female and upload those results to mitoydna.org...that should keep you busy creating that tree without the nonsense of those that are really non-related to you screwing up your tree...thanks for letting me vent...I hope it brought a smile, and that it was informative...
