  It wont let me delete them from my tree because they are linked to someone else's that I didn't mean to link it to...

  I have problems understanding your request. Unlink what? - bad connections or are you trying to keep your profiles as duplicates of already existing profiles in the Geni world tree?
  
  If they are profiles of the same person they should be merged. In Geni there is no room for individual trees, - Geni is the site for the world tree where we work together on a single tree, currently almost 139 million profiles.
