How do I delete people that added themselves to my tree that are not blood relatives - they made their profile Private. I have no contact whatsoever with these people.

Sean I. G. Hinckley I would like to know also. I entered data then someone in tree takes over the data and has incorrect info in tree. For some reason I can no longer edit MY data because it has been taken over by another. How does this happen and why can't I just delete entries and start over?

Judith Maud Thain Me too. Someone has added 2 generations of dozens of people I've never heard of. I now have 633 Matches, 53 Data Conflicts & 37 Consistencies which have absolutely nothing to do with my family.
I have spent over 30 years carefully verifying information I put into my Family Tree, and now I have all these people who I cannot remove.
I have sent messages many times to one individual who is related to some of these people, but she has done nothing to fix it.
I'm very dissatisfied with Geni right now.

Eric Randol Schoenberg, Geni Curator Part of working on a collaborative tree like Geni is dealing with other people who may confuse things. Usually the issues are easy to resolve, but if you are having trouble, just ask a volunteer curator for help. See the discussion at https://www.geni.com/discussions/192543 where you can ask for help. Please provide specifics, including the url (internet address) of the profile that needs fixing so the curators can find it.
