A few months ago I found a family tree on familysearch that linked my fourth great grandfather to a man named Francisco. Recently, I found his baptism record and he isn't the son of that man. I tried removing the connection but I can't split the tree. Can anyone help me remove the connection to Francisco?

The trick is that you are not allowed to split the tree, so if you want to cut a connection to a profile you have to make sure that it stays connected to the tree. Meaning you will have to first connect it in the right place in the tree before trying to cut the wrong connection.
In many cases that can be done. One way that may work is to add the right parents first (so he will have more than 2 parents) and then choose from the relation tab the right parents (for this to work the wrong parents must be connected to the tree after cutting the connection to the wrong child).
