How can I upload my Y-DNA from a third-party base? I will be doing a 23andMe test in a few days and I did one with AncestryDNA a few years back. I have already done my autosomal DNA through AncestryDNA and FamilyTree DNA. Could I also get my mitochondrial DNA through this? Formerly, I thought this wasn't possible but I just saw that someone else had done it. On this man's profile (https://www.geni.com/people/Jacques-Jacob-Boudreau/6000000018780151032), it says his Y-DNA was provided by James Lawton Boudreau, from Ancestry.com.

Keri Denise Jackson, ♊ Twin A, GEDMATCH GQ346442C1 If you have already done a Familytreedna test then go to their website and after you sign in on the main page close to the bottom (unless you have chosen a different location) you will see a button that says partner applications. Click on that button and it will pull up a screen that says Geni. On that screen there will be a button that says connect. Select that button and then you just have to accept and you are ready to go. Hope I have been of assistance. Let me know if I can help you with anything else. Thank you.

RUI BRITO How do I upload my 23&Me DNA readings? How about Dante Labs? I have a full DNA reading data set sitting in my PC, how do I upload that?

Geni Support Team Hi Rui, we currently do not accept uploads from 23andMe. We do have a partnership with Family Tree DNA. If you would like to receive DNA matches on Geni, you may want to consider uploading your results to Family Tree DNA for free (https://www.familytreedna.com/autosomal-transfer ).
Once your results have been transferred, you will be able to link your Family Tree DNA account to Geni and import your results. Simply follow the steps in this FAQ: https://help.geni.com/hc/en-us/articles/229707687-How-do-I-link-Family-Tree-DNA-test-results-to-my-profile-
