How can I connect with my family tree if Geni no longer recognizes my user ID (my e-mail address)? I have created a new password, but it opens to a new tree rather than to the one already built.

Geni is a World tree so probably if you have not been on Geni in a long time than the profiles fall to other family members or such to manage them. How long ago was it that you were on Geni? Can you access your own profile? Each person should only have one profile. So see if there are two profiles for you. If so then might be able to just merge the two profiles and then request to be added as a manager of the other profiles. To do this you go to whatever profile you wish and click on the "action" button on the top right of the profile and then select manager functions. You might also try adding some relatives if the above does not help and then it will hopefully find matches and you can merge them to become part of the "big" tree again. Hope this helps.
