I have been an INACTIVE member of GENI for 10 years and our family tree was pretty dormant. Since the COVID lockdown I have spent a huge amount of time on researching my family dates and events and have personally added over a hundred profiles, Plus Many hundreds of photos and official documentation. As a result more and more relatives are logging in to see what new piece of history I have discovered.
I have 3 questions.
1) How do I make myself a manager on my close family profiles where I have done the research and have added the majority of dates, photos and comments. Many profiles were created by my sister who died and her 2 daughters became managers of those profiles. They rarely log in and do not contribute.
2) How do I ensure my name is posted with comments on photos as I want the Named comments to stay permanently with the photos
3). How do others Members tackle very sensitive information like a murder conviction of a spouse, even if it was100 years ago. My 2 oldest living Aunts are in their 90’s. and I am reluctant to bring it up with them.
