Tree too large, cannot navigate to more than 2 ancestors.

I would like to remove my mother's ancestors from my tree, as the tree has become too large, due to the many ancestor additions by other people. I am the direct VAN DER LINGEN descendent, dating back to 1552 in the Netherlands, but is now unable to view the tree as it is too large. Can you please help so that I have only a VAN DER LINGEN family tree.

  To adjust the number of generations to display, click on the gear icon at the left of the tree page.

  

  Then use the slider to adjust the number of Ancestors and Descendants to display in the tree.
