A child of a distant cousin who is on my family tree added my cousin's wife (her mother) to my tree. Now I have 150+ people from my cousin's wife's tree - none of whom are related to me - connected to my tree. This happened quite a while ago and I must have accepted, thinking I was just getting his immediate family. I cannot seem to remove the wife and her family from my tree. (I get a message saying the wife has other connections.) There is also a note that seems to say that my tree is now co-managed by my cousin's daughter.
Could someone please provide me step by step instructions on how to remove the wife's tree from mine. I hope I can do this w/o slighting my cousin and his family. BTW I just made my tree private to prevent future messes.
