I am merely a passive member of Geni - I receive notifications but have no authority and no desire to edit any profiles. A number of members of my family have died but I still receive notifications of anniversaries. I find this weird and creepy and very unpleasant. These people were all added by different people, some of whom have died themselves and none of the rest of us know how to record their death. Nor is it clear how to contact Geni to inform them of this. Can somebody from Geni please note the deaths of these people and desist from sending notifications as if they are alive?
