I had a My Heritage membership (expensive). I have an active Ancestry.com membership. Why should I use My Heritage & Geni. What do you offer that I don't get with Ancestry, Family Search and Family Tree Maker? This gets so confusing, and you end up paying for a membership, then realize you have gotten the information already from another genealogy site. That's not right.
I have the same question. I have tried My Heritage (even with a paid subscription), and they always want you to pay more for access. Most of my matches on both GENI and My Heritage are with my data which is very discouraging. I can't even import a branch GED into GENI because it wants me to match people that I can't match because I don't have a paid My Heritage account. Both of them are the biggest mess I have ever dealt with.
