Deadlocked inconsistency correction

I am trying to fix an inconsistency in a relative's profile. My suggested correction is being sent to that person, but on their profile it says that emails cannot be sent to this person.... So the message will never get to its destination and the inconsistency can't be fixed "until further notice". Will it remain on my to-do-list forever?
