DNA test

I have found an offer for a DNA test from My Heritage online - but when I access the DNA test page from my Geni account I see that the same kit is twice the price!  If I order the My Heritage kit on offer, can the results be loaded onto Geni or are the 2 systems totally seperate.    If the latter, are Geni proposing to offer cut price DNA kit offers in time for Christmas?
