Was updating my family tree, at some point clicked the "Move Profile" option. Tried to get rid of the menu, the prompt "Are you sure? This profile will be removed from your list." worried me a bit, so I decided to simply click on the persons daughter, selected that she was the mother and before I knew it, the profile which had been selected as the mother duplicated.
The duplicate shares the same profile and everything, thereby causing it to have two instances of the same person. It doesn't cause any concflicts but just looks odd.
The tree tries to ask me to resolve the duplication but when entering into the duplication resolver it simply doens't exist due to the two entries being the same profile.
What it does say is that there's a tree conflict and that there's a Cycle Count of 2.

Geni Support Team Hi Hampus, can you please provide a link to the profile? It should be a simple fix that we can walk you through.
Note that when it said the profile would be removed from your list, it was simply referring to removing it from the list of profiles you want to move in the Map These People box.

Geni Support Team Thanks! I see that a parent conflict was created when you dropped the mother's node. She had two partners, Uno Albin Olofsson and a blank node. I clicked on the yellow triangle to merge Uno with the blank father node and it resolved the conflict.
