Need to delete duplicate

I have put in a request to merge a duplicate but it isn't happening yet. It's been a month now. 

I can't delete that person either. The correct one has many children, the wrong one is listed by herself. 

What do I do now?

  Hi Kenneth, if the person claimed the profile with their email address, then they will need to log in to their own account to complete the merge.

  Thank you for responding! I am the one who created both and that person. She's my sister. One listing is her as my sister and the other lists her spouse and all of her siblings.

  I see that your sister did claim her account after accepting an invitation to join the tree. It is the profile without her spouse attached. You will need to ask her to log into her account to complete the merge. 

  Once someone claims their account, only they will be able to edit their profile unless they update their own privacy settings to allow close relatives to edit it.
