I think it would be neat to have a 'World History' view added to the timeline tabs, etc.
It would help to put context to the life events we see in our family members. Imagine being able to see them being born, marry, have children, etc against the backdrop of the big events of the world (wars, revolutions, kingdoms rise and fall, and so forth).
The World History could take up position to the side of the timeline, either on the left or right, depending on Geni's preference.
Geni would need to establish a world history database that the system could reference / draw data from. Or establish a data connection to a vendor that provided one.
