A married couple on our tree have long had separate email addresses. One retired and dropped her email address and has therefore not been able to access her Geni profile. I tried to add his remaining active email address to her profile without success as Geni kept telling me that the email was already in use. Of course it is. I tried to follow your Cycle instructions but they do not work. How do we correct this situation so both of these two people can share the same email address and have Geni access?

Geni Support Team Hi Jay, a cycle does not solve login issues. A cycle is created if someone is related to the tree in more than one way (such as married cousins).
Note multiple accounts cannot use the same email address.
Please ask your relative to email us at subscriptions@geni.com and our customer service team can assist them with regaining access to their account.
