Being able to show when a country no longer exists

So, I have some ancestors who were born in what was back then in the  British Raj. I think it would be a cool if I could show that, if in 'Place of Birth' it says 'British Raj' , I could at the same time show 'Pakistan' in parentheses. Or, that if someone was born in 1900 in Pakistan, it will say 'British Raj' in parentheses, or it would show as an inconsistency, because Pakistan didn't exist until 1947
