How do I access an existing tree on Geni?

If you found a listing for someone you believe to be you or someone you are related to, you should ask the manager to invite you to join their tree.

First you need to be added to the other tree and invited by an existing member of that tree.  Therefore you may wish to contact one of your family members directly to make sure the information added is correct. You will then receive an email inviting you to join your family tree on Geni.

Once you have joined, you will see the same tree as your relatives, but focused from your point of view. You can then add other relatives, and so on. Your tree will continue to grow as relatives invite other relatives.
