How To: See if You are a Member of the World Family Tree

So, you’ve been on Geni for a while now. You’ve been adding and merging profiles, but how can you tell if you’re part of the world family tree with over 100 million profiles?

While you’re logged into Geni, go to our world family tree page. On the right-hand side, you’ll see a statistics box. There will be a phrase that says “You are connected to _________ people on Geni.” If the number is in the millions, you’re part of the big tree. If it is only a couple hundred or thousand, you still have some work to do to get hooked up to the big tree. Trust me, it’s worth it.
