How can I update the profile for someone I added to the tree?

Once someone accepts your invitation, they are claiming their account. What this means that they will also be able to collaborate any information they have and share it with others within their Network.

You will still have the ability to edit their profile, until they have set their permanent password and updated their Privacy Settings.

If that person would like for you to edit their profile, they must login to their Geni account, go here, check on the "Let my family edit my profile" box and save that update.
