How do I make a public profile private?

You may update the privacy setting of any profile that you have permission to edit. You can make a public profile private in the following ways (making a deceased, private profile public works similarly):

Navigate to the profile and click "Actions." Select "Make This Profile Private."

Or you can follow these steps to make a public profile private:

1. Navigate to the profile and click "Edit profile"

2. At the top of the edit form, you will find a Privacy section. Select "Private" and save your changes.

3. Now the profile is private.
