How do I convert photos to documents?

Do you have records, such as census records or passenger lists that were uploaded as photos on Geni? You can convert those photos into documents. By converting these types of photos into documents, you make these records even more useful in your family tree. Once the image is made into a document, you can use them as sources for your family’s profiles. 

1. At the top of the page, click "Family", select “Photos”.
   
   
   

2.  Select the photo Album where the image you want to convert is located.
   
   
3.  Next, click “Organize this album”
   
4. In your photo organizer, select the image you would like to convert into a document and then click the “Make Document” button.
   The image will then become a document and listed in your Documents page. 

Note: Keep in mind that there is no way to convert a document back to a photo, so make sure you select the right image.
