If you have already linked your relative's Family Tree DNA account to his or her profile page on Geni, but they have since taken a new Family Tree DNA test or received an updated haplogroup, then you will need to disconnect their linked account on Family Tree DNA and then re-connect them to import their updated DNA test results.
1. Login to your relative's Family Tree DNA account then in the "Tests/Tools" dashboard, click on "Geni" to go to the Partner Applications page. Click on 'Disconnect' and then in the next window that appears click on 'Yes, Disconnect'.
2. After disconnecting, click on 'Connect Now' then in the next window that appears click the check box to confirm you want to overwrite your relative's previous DNA results, click the check box to accept Geni's Family Tree DNA Connector Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and lastly click on 'Authorize'.
3. Once you have reconnected their Family Tree DNA account to Geni, their updated DNA results will be imported.
