Private projects are genealogy projects that are visible only to you. They are ideal for personal, complex, or just "in-progress" research. Just like public projects, you can add photos, documents, and tag profiles to a private project. Private projects also have their own dedicated notes and to-dos. A briefcase icon will appear at the top left of the project title to let you know you are viewing a private project.
You may tag public and private profiles to a private project. Note your existing view/edit permissions will remain the same. While you may tag private profiles to private projects, it will not grant any new privileges on these private profiles.
When you view your project dashboard, private projects will be highlighted in purple, so you know immediately which projects are public and private.
