I am trying to add a relative to the I1-M253 YDNA project. The profile is public. When I try to add to project, a dialog box comes up, but when I try to search the project nothing happens. Also, there is only one project in the "list" that I can add to. DNA results have been added to the profile, so it should recognize that this profile is eligible to join the project.

Bjørn P. Brox First of all you have to be a manager or collaborator of one of the profile managers unless it is within your own family group. Secondly you also have to be a collaborator of the project.
The best place to add a profile to a project is to add it from the Actions menu of the profile itself to avoid adding a profile with a similar name. -
Eufemia K. Scarfone I did that. I am the profile manager. It is my direct most distant paternal ancestor. It did not work. The instructions do not say that you have to be a collaborator on the project. Do I add myself as a collaborator?
