Unable to download raw data from FTDNA. FTDNA advised to ask you.

I have my DNA results (Kit #713630) on FTDNA.  I contacted them because I have tried several FREE apps to unzip their GZIP file.  What was supposed to be easy does not seem to be working for me.  (I was able to figure the GEDCOM zip file and upload the ged file onto MyHeritage.  FTDNA advised that I get in contact with the website that I'm upload the raw scores onto and that would be GENi, especially since they advised that DNA results CANNOT be uploaded onto MyHeritage  Please advise the way for me to get my raw data from FTDNA onto GENi.  I have tried on my personal laptop as well as a government with no luck.

  Hi Lisa, 

  You can simply link your FTDNA account to your Geni account to import your DNA test results. 

  Linking your accounts is easy. Simply follow the steps in our FAQ:

  I have been trying to do this for several days with no success. It links to FTDNA but then says "You have linked your account with Family Tree DNA and we are currently awaiting your test results. Try again"; this message persists and the DNA results never show up.

  Now that sentence is gone but there are no DNA results. FTDNA is still linked.

  Hi Sheila, there is currently an issue with linking FTDNA accounts to Geni. We are in communication with FTDNA and they are working on a fix. We're very sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience during this time. We'll let you know once we have an update.
