Hi, I think this has been raised by a number of Geni members over the years but is there any update on whether a feature will be added that will allow you to view all of the different relationship paths with other profiles?
I would only expect such a tool for blood relations.
For connections via marriage/s, it could just be the closest relationship path.
For blood relations, there's now a roundabout way to achieve this:
Find the two profiles that you are interested in, look at the URLs and find the profile-IDs (usually starting with 6000...). Put the two profile-IDs into the following URL:
https://www.geni.com/list/ancestors/profile1?compare_id=profile2
Geni will then list the ancestors of the two profiles side by side, highlighting branches that are identical. You may crank up the number of generations. (The hope is that Geni will describe in words the various relationships from this information.)
p.s. If the list gets too long, I recommend a Chrome extension called Scroll Preview.
