I open the tree page and it just goes into freeze mode after opening one person. It also isn't lining up properly between mouse and edit etc its like its out of phase. I thought it was me, but its only your site I'm having issues with.
I use the latest firefox and am up to date with add ons.
I am encountering the same problem. Everything works except when I go to the TREE page. Then everything there is frozen. I can't add family and I can't navigate anywhere.....I can't do anything. I know it is not a problem with my computer as everything else works fine.....I can go to profiles on GENI, edit them, add pictures etc. but can do absolutely nothing on the tree itself.
Why isn't there an answer to this problem, It is getting digusting!!
Because it is answered hundreds of times already in similar topics which you probably got a hint om when typing your message...
The problem is your browser and that Geni tree view still require Flash installed or part of the browser.
Lately most browsers have, because it might be a security problem some obscure pages might be use, started to disable adobe flash by default.
What you need to do is to enable Flash again, - but for specific sites only (some browsers like Chrome have a setting for that), where you white-list geni.com. Check also chrome://flags/ Just google for solutions for your browser.
If using firefox you also need to use the 64-bit version getfirefox.com

I've been using the internet pretty much since it started and firefox for over 20 years including a variety of add ons over that time. You think I havent tried reinstalling firefox, flash etc? I have! Its made absolutely no difference! I've read other comments on the board and seen nothing like the current issue.
To add... Considering I paid to use Geni and now its stuffing up, I wont be paying again in the future.
