CAN'T UPDATE PASSWORD!!!

 I joined Geni about 4 or 5 days ago. I seems I received an email that day saying I had a temporary password with an option to update to a new one.

I'm starting to think the option to update the password was both mandatory and immediately because about 4 days later, I'm trying to update the password today and nothing seems to work: It doesn't seem to recognize the password they assigned me on day one, and any attempt to update it seems futile. It keeps saying that I need to use the current password which is what I thought I was doing. It's almost as if the original password they gave me expired in a day or two. I've got just the Geni Basic Account (if that's a factor).

Has anyone else gone though this? How does one overcome this weird paradox?
