I have already added my autosomal results. Is it also possible to download my mitochondrial results to Geni at the same time. I can't see an available feature when I go to the DNA tab on my profile it doesn't seem to be available. Thank you for any assistance. Alice Riley

Роман Миколайович Ковбасюк Yes, It's possible to add the results of mtDNA testing, as well as Y-DNA testing. The best way to do that is connect your (or your relative's you manage) profile at FamilyTreeDNA to the profile of the same person on Geni by establishing connection on FamilyTreeDNA website, in Partner Applications section. Then it transfers all of the relevant information to Geni.

Cheryl Kotecki I have my Autosomal results in Geni already and my FTDNA profile is already connected to my account at Geni. I have recently tested mtDNA and have had the results for over three weeks. I can't manually connect the result to my Geni account and it's not happening automatically. Any suggestions?

Роман Миколайович Ковбасюк There's a problem with this connection (or may be it was intended that way): it's unable to transfer new or updated results once they appear at FTDNA. So I did it by breaking the connection and deleting DNA results from my profile, then by establishing connection all over again. Once you do it, you'd have both autosomal and mito results in Geni.

Cheryl Kotecki Thank you Roman - that is what I hoped might work.
