But when I click on her father, Berenger II king of Italy is my 30th ggf.
The algorithm is supposed to shift to a shorter pathway. Why does it shift to a longer pathway? The exact same problem showed up a few hours ago with a similar ancestral ascent.
I just want to climb the geni ladder one generation at a time and print out the result, but the algorithm won’t let me. If I could do so, I could compare the ascent to the same ancestor through both of my maternal grandparents.
