I have requested a GEDCOM file of the descendants for a person in my family tree. Unfortunately, all spouses are missing in it, while they are correctly listed in the PDF list of descendants.
What do I have to do to get the complete GEDCOM file of the descendants of a person?
As a basic user the number of profiles you can export from a profile is limited. Which profiles are exported will depend on the option you choose
As the number of profiles that you can export is limited, you might have to to multiple exports (from different profiles) and combine those exports to get a complete GEDCOM of all descendants
Thanks for your answer, but that is not the problem. While the listing of descendants you can download as a PDF contains all the descendants, those related by blood as well as all the spouses of children, grandchildren and so on, the GEDCOM file contains the descendants related by blood only.
What I need, is a GEDCOM file including exactly the same profiles the PDF of descendants contains.
If you export a Forrest those will be included, but also some profiles you may not want. A Forrest export will mostly also export some incomplete families due to the maximum number of profiles that can be exported.
Also please check for tree and data conflicts on Geni before exporting, because the export will also export those if they are present. You can do some checks with http://historylinktools.herokuapp.com/history

A forrest will include a lot of informations I don`t want in the GEDCOM file. Isn`t htere a possibility to export exactly the informations of the descendants PDF listing? That would be exactly, what I need.
I don't know, maybe someone from Geni staff can answer that.
If the export you want is not possible you could download Forrest GEDCOM files and use an external program to make a new GEDCOM with only the profiles you want.
