Profile filter for unconfirmed matches does not seem to work correctly

Hi,

I am using the profile filter (https://www.geni.com/list/index) to find all profiles descending from a certain profile I am trying to import from GEDCOM, to find the one that have unconfirmed matches in Geni.

An example:

If I do this for https://www.geni.com/family-tree/index/6000000190902403422

I currently gives me 5 matches, 2 of which I am maintaining myself.

However, both of the do not seem to have any matching profile in Geni. Even more so, a curator helped me to remove the unjustified matches that were there before.

Still they appear in the list and seem to block the import of that part of my GEDCOM to proceed.

  Hi Rian, it looks like your importer has continued to import profiles today. If you take a look at your GEDCOM dashboard, you can see what other branches the importer has stopped due to detected duplicates. You will need to resolve these matches before the importer will continue on those branches.

  Yes, finally that branch continued! 

  Is my expectation incorrect that https://www.geni.com/list/index should show profiles with unconfirmed matches, if I search for unconfirmed matches? 

  It's not doing that.

  For Godefridus Nicolai Megens ( https://www.geni.com/family-tree/index/6000000190902403422) I still get a list of 6 people without any suspected match when I search for unconfirmed matches.

  You can try it yourself.

  For example it reports:

  https://www.geni.com/people/Anna-Bosch/6000000190902403397?through=6000000190902403422

  which does not have any unconfirmed match as you can see.

  What am I missing?

  I think you may be confused by Geni tree matches and MyHeritage Smart Matches. But even so there are some problems with the selection for the list.

  We are aware the filter "With Tree Matches" in the list view is not working correctly. It has been forwarded to our engineers to investigate. This is just one method to find nearby Tree Matches.

  The best way to see a list of what Tree Matches are blocking your import is to go to your GEDCOM dashboard. Here you will see a list of branches of where your import has stopped. Click "Resolve" to view the list of Tree Matches along that branch that need to be resolved. Once all the Tree Matches have been resolved in that branch, the GEDCOM will continue.

  For example, we see the GEDCOM has stopped at the branch for Adrianus Weijers. When you click "Resolve," you will see a list of Tree Matches for that branch https://www.geni.com/gedcom/resolve_matches/6000000190904066674?doc_id=6000000190891902829 . Once these are resolved, the import will continue on that branch.

  Well, when I click "resolve" I get a pay wall.

  That's the reward for donating 15000 profiles ;-)
